I had a tremendous time visiting China for the MSU Executive Forum in Shanghai! I had the pleasure of hosting a panel discussion with three MSU alumni who shared their experiences regarding international business and how they connect Michigan and China. #GlobalSpartans are important players in making business happen around the world.

Such a great pleasure connecting with Spartans in Shanghai in the past few days. First we had dinner with experienced Spartans in the auto industry Tu T. Le, Pat Dougherty and Ming Li and talked about the opportunities and challenges in the field and of course shared everyone’s MSU memories. Then last night, more than 40 alumni, parents and friends joined us at the 2019 MSU Executive Forum in Shanghai! Sanjay Gupta, Eli and Edythe L. Broad Dean of MSU Broad College of Business shared with the audience some exciting updates at MSU and Broad, and three alumni panelists Bun Ly, Tu T. Le and Ning Shao talked about the great work they do connecting Michigan and China, the top opportunities they see and how their MSU’s experience has helped prepare them! Special thanks to Dan Eschtruth, the Director of Schools of Shanghai Community International School who generously provided the event space, staff support and let us admire his Spartan collection. Many of the attendees asked “when is the next Spartan gathering?” We hope to see you at the inaugural Global MSU international alumni reunion from May 29-31 in Seoul, Korea! #GlobalSpartans #GlobalMSU #GoGreen #MSUAlumni #broadspartans
